Miller Custom Cabinets provides three types of drawer boxes to suit different wants and needs. They are a basic box made from melamine, a metal sided box with melamine back and bottom, and solid wood dovetailed boxes. The number of drawers can add significantly to the cost of your kitchen, but should not be overlooked as they typically provide far superior storage solution that cupboard space. 

The basic melamine box features floating tenon joinery for a strong and economical option. When paired with the inexpensive 3/4 extension roller slides this combination can help to keep the cost of your kitchen down, especially if you want a lot of drawers. 

The metal sided drawer box has an integrated and hidden drawer slide, with a built-in soft-close mechanism. There are two makes that we use, Richelieu and BLUM. They are nearly identical in terms of function, with the BLUM just having an edge in fit and finish. 

The solid wood dovetailed drawer box is the clear winner when it comes to luxury. It's classic style and exceptional durability mean it will last for generations. Paired with full extension undermount slides this is the go to choice for a premium look and quality. These drawer boxes come in maple, cherry, red oak, and black walnut.
